Hi Evelyn. Thanks for the race results.

What were race conditions for the 6 miles on the 29th. Was it downwind, upwind or both? What were surf conditions?

BOTH!!! We had some wind and chop on the water. Probably 10-12 mph out of the East primarily, so we were paddling cross-wind, into the wind and downwind as it was a triangular 3 mile course. I'll post some pix. Amazing FUN!!!! There is another race on Aug. 11th in North Haven, and on Oct. 6th in Amagansett (this one is a downwinder). Would love to have you join us!

We are SUP Race Training THIS Sunday at 9AM. Let's meet at the Northwest Harbor boat ramp. You can take Rte 114 to Swamp Rd, follow Swamp to the end and make a left at the T onto NW Landing Rd, follow to the end at the bulkhead. We'll be there - get ready!
