Yes, there is so much out there. It's well overdue for us to publish a history of sup article. There is lots out there, but almost everything conflates the modern and broader history of the sport. In terms of the modern history, it's no doubt Hawaii. But in terms of the boarder history, it gets much trickier. We'll try to have something up there coming up, Julie.
I'd love a little more info to answer the question " Where did SUP come from?" I tell them Hawaii, originating with prone paddlers & outriggers, evolving to photographers trying to manuver better pics of surfers, to Laird.....
a little help polishing that up? What company actually produced the first boards? The first organized race?
