Looking to invest in an inflatable SUP. Have paddled the NRS big earl ( I think it was the Big Earl) I know the technology is new, and more and more inflatables are coming to the market every season, see Naish has an inflatable out, know of C4, SHUBU, and also heard Yolo is releasing an inflatable in July. I'm skeptical of first generation anything however, always seem to be some kinks that need working out. I'm looking for a board that I can paddle in mostly flat water and also do yoga on. The tail of the NRS is fairly narrow, something more wide would be more conducive to yoga. Any feedback on inflatables appreciated! Thanks.

I was really honest. That one is pretty wide, pretty stable and doesn't indent so you could probably do some yoga on it. I also just talked to Riviera paddlesurf rep yesterday who said that the riviera inflatable has the highest pressure in the industry so it's really firm. I havent tried it yet, though.
I don't own one, but I've been really impressed with what I've tried. Like said, lots coming out right now from major companies! I have friends who travel (fly) with them all the time to Florida & Hawaii on their one/two week trips. Such a cool set up .... they each have their Uli and a three part paddle packed in soft sided luggage that comes in under 50 pounds and they just check like a regular bag. Can you get to a big demo event to try a variety?
I've really enjoyed the SHUBU. The MCIT is another you may want to take a look into. The rails are curved up so it may not be the best fit for YOGA but its worth looking at in your research. Here's a link: http://bit.ly/IIRlGD Good luck and sounds like you're have fun out on the water! ;-)
