I don't know much about SUP & the tidal bore outside of Kuching... sorry.

Seems though that so many SUPers talk about the Maldives. Great water temps, shallow water to sup and explore as well as great surf for sup surfing if desired. Try googling the Maldives and see what you think! ;-)
