Hey all, I'm now available for SUP instruction outside of WA State. Give me a holler if you run a SUP camp, shop, rec center or have a bunch of folks looking for a private lesson.

Check out my website for more info and/or give me a holler for more info.. www.salmonbaypaddle.com

Cheers! Rob

How have some of you made the transition from SUP Flatwater to SUP Surf / Rapids, etc? I think lots of people would love to hear your stories!

Surftech Sup
Great group Andre!

Surftech was lucky enough to put Olympic Gold medalist (Sprint canoe) Larry Cain on the team, and he has already started his season by winning the first SUP race he entered, the Cold Stroke Classic, on a Bark 12'6" Competitor.

As you can imagine, Larry is a highly skilled paddler, and is bringing years of winning paddle technique from his canoe racing days into SUP. Larry was a seventeen-year member of Canada’s National Team and regularly among the top finishers at World Cups and World Championships between 1981 and 1994. Since retiring from the National Team he has successfully raced outrigger and dragon boat and continued to train C1 with the athletes he coaches.

So stoked to see people with various paddling backgrounds being turned on to SUP, and enriching the sport with their comprehensive experience.

Look for him next at the Carolina Cup, along with Joe Bark and more! Stop by the tent with the big red S and say hi! I'm sure he'd be happy to share a few tips...
