Information on the Mississippi River Challenge: The Mississippi River Challenge is a fully supported, 2-day paddle fundraiser for Friends of the Mississippi River. The event is pledge-based, and all proceeds go towards Friends of the Mississippi River conservation projects, programs, and the next year's Challenge! Paddlers will explore both the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers, starting at The Landing, Minnesota River Heritage Park, 2187 Highway 101 East ‎Shakopee, MN 55379-1750 and ending at Grey Cloud Island in Inver Grove Heights.
