SUNSET BEACH, Hawaii - History happened this week on February 6th, 2013 as the stand up paddle surfing women converged upon the beach at Turtle Bay Resort to compete in the first ever women's competition in the Stand Up World Tour.

After some great waves, it was Nicole Pacelli from Brazil who took home the honors followed by Candice Appleby who won all her heats up until the final. Vanina Walsh took the third spot and Hannah Fenton finished in 4th.

Other leading ladies who competed in the Sunset Beach Pro inaugural SUP Surfing Women's Contest and who will also go down in history are:
