Annabel Anderson won both races at the Summer Paddle Challenge in Hawaii.
KAHUKU, Hawaii - Last weekend there was a fantastic event at the Turtle Bay Resort on Kahuku, HI. It was the Turtle Bay Summer Paddle Challenge and provided a great preview of what can be expected at the Standup World Series World Championships Final which will be held at the same location on October 12th - 14th.
The event consisted of an 8 mile distance course on the 11th of August followed by the sprint races, directly in front of the well known Turtle Bay Hang Ten Bar, on the 12th. Connor Baxter was the men's winner of both the distance and sprint races while Annabel Anderson won both events for the women.
The Turtle Bay Resort consistently hosts some of the best SUP events in the world and provides the perfect environment for competitors and spectators alike to participate in the competition and then also have some fun and relaxation. The videos included here will really give a great feel for the events of Turtle Bay and may just tempt you to book your ticket to the next SUP races. A special thanks to the Waterman League for these views of the action.
