SAN DIEGO, California - The San Diego Canoe and Kayak Team held their third annual Turkey Paddle and Potluck Friday and was a great success!

Organizers estimate that approximately $3,000 was raised to help keep programs going at the San Diego Canoe and Kayak Team.  It was a great event with a large turnout.  Lots of families came out to paddle off those Thanksgiving Day calories and have fun!

They had a lot of divisions which included all family members.  These are some of the divisions:  8 and younger group, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14 so all the kids got to be involved.  Very fun watching some of the little ones coming in!

Top Men 19-49 1st: Sean Pandgelian 2nd: Scott Shoemaker 3rd: EJ Johnson

On top of the fun races and duck toss, there was a potluck.  So all that extra Thanksgiving food was once again enjoyed….luckily paddles and boards were available for demo in case you didn’t bring your board!
