NEWPORT BEACH, California - Paddle for Privates is a costume paddle parade (not a race) and beach party with a mission to raise money and awareness for private part cancers.  This year the event will benefit Athletes for Cancer and is scheduled for this Saturday October 27th, 2012 at the Newport Dunes in Newport Beach, CA!

Participants can paddle anything they would like such as SUPs, kayaks, canoes, dragon boats, build a boat, etc. As long as it's human-powered and without an engine it's approved. Remember, THIS IS A COSTUME PADDLE EVENT so dress for the theme or wear your Halloween costume! 

The parade will take place around Newport Harbor with lunch served on the paddle route. Plan on sticking around after the paddle for the big beach party festival with live music, beach dancing, bar, charity and sponsor expo and costume/fundraising awards!

Stand Up Paddleboards and paddles are available (thanks to our SUP sponsors) to borrow on a first come, first served basis and can be reserved through registration.

10:30AM - DEPART ON PADDLE
11:30AM-12:30PM - LUNCH STOP AT LIDO ISLAND
12:30PM - DEPART ON PADDLE BACK TO THE DUNES
1:30PM - BEACH PARTY AND FESTIVAL AT THE DUNES (LIVE MUSIC & CHARITY AND SPONSOR EXPO)
2:30PM - COSTUME CONTEST AWARDS
3:00PM - ATHLETES FOR CANCER VIDEO AND FUNDRAISING AWARDS PRESENTED
3:30PM-5PM - LIVE MUSIC, DANCING AND BAR OPEN
