New line of Laird Hamilton standup boards for spring 2013.

Laird Bark Surftech 12'6 SUP Race Model

SANTA CRUZ, California - Surftech recently congratulated living legend Laird Hamilton on the announcement that he will be releasing a line of hand finished "Laird StandUP" boards. 

Laird Hamilton first collaborated with Surftech in 2005 to create the first ever production SUP. Since that time the partnership has worked together on dozens of boards including the most recent set of boards which were designed by Joe Bark and Bob Pearson.

Today, Laird and Surftech continue to evolve their boards and to bring new and fresh ideas to the industry. Two examples of this are the new Bark Phantom Race Series built with Quantum Carbon Technology and the B1 Bomber Series, which utilizes patented Bounce Composite construction.
It is no wonder then that Laird and Surftech are also excited to offer a new image to the Laird line-up, which will be available in the spring of 2013.

In a recent announcement Surftech stated, "We celebrate the expansion of Laird's iconic brand through his new line of Laird StandUP hand finished boards and look forward to continuing to provide the market with the highest quality molded boards in Laird's favorite shapes.
